The Challenge
Getting just the final answer to a math problem is often not enough, especially for a student who needs to understand the logic behind the solution and solve similar problems on their own.
The task was to build a mobile app that let users photograph a problem instead of typing it in, get the solution, and walk through the explanation step by step.
It also had to support follow-up questions, revisiting past solutions, and keeping everything in one place.
The Approach
The whole flow, from capturing a problem to solving it, had to be as simple as possible for the user.
We built a mobile experience where users photograph a problem, edit the capture if needed, and receive the solution. Alongside the solution, they can ask follow-up questions to understand the problem better.
