The Challenge
When solving a math problem, receiving just the final answer is often not enough, especially for students who need to understand the underlying logic to complete similar assignments independently.
It was necessary to create a mobile application that allowed users to take a photo of a problem instead of manually entering text, receive a solution, and go through the explanations step by step.
Additionally, having the ability to ask follow-up questions, review past solutions, and store retrieved information in one place was essential.
The Approach
When building MathGPT, making the step-by-step solving process as seamless as possible for users was crucial.
To accomplish this, a mobile experience was crafted that enables users to photograph a problem, edit the photo if needed, and receive the solution. Alongside the solution, users can ask follow-up questions to gain a deeper understanding of specific steps.
The Solution
